Duane Eddy born April 26, [2] is an American guitarist. In the late s and early s, he had a string of hit records produced by Lee Hazlewoodwhich were noted for their characteristically "twangy" sound, including " Rebel-'Rouser ", " Peter Gunn ", and " Because They're Young ". Born in Corning, New Yorkhe began playing the guitar at the age of five. Inhis family moved to Tucsonand then to Coolidge, Arizona.
