Did I miss a post, or is no one talking about this album here yet? It's no real world beater, but it's a pretty cool and very well produced hard rock album. The band is Italian and there is an accent present at times especially on 'Trill of the Night' but for the most part it's a pretty cool hard rock album. Anyway, check it out. Some cool stuff like 'Kiss This!
Sorry, can't find much on youtube at all, maybe Stefan can find sounds for the three tracks I mention above? Kinda sounds like early Iron Maiden. I think I'm gonna check it out. I really had to do some googling to find out if this was a new recording or something that was recorded back in the 80's or early 90's. Definitely appears to be a current band, though.
I'm definitely not saying these guys are amazing or anything, but fans of that real pure 80's sound should dig some stuff here. I'm annoyed that's the only song available as there is some other much cooler riff heavy hard rock on board It won't rate a mention at the end of the year You can post now and register later.

What CDs did you buy this week? Have to say that one song sounded very familiar to me and worked out why. To be honest, I am pretty much open to giving anything a try, but in my earliest days of being a hard rock fan, just learning my way I was maybe a little blinkered for the first couple of years pretty much only listening to bands that I had never heard before if they had the right image big hair, leather, make-up etc etc.
My first exposure to Dan Reed Network would have been an Give Up The Goods (Just Step) - Mobb Deep - The Infamous or article in Kerrang magazine around the time The Heat came out, and all I saw was this bald guy and a bunch of guys wearing not so rock clothes and automatically decided they were probably a load of old shit.
Fast forward a year or so after the album came out and I saw the cassette on sale in a local WH Smith and as it Curf - Waqs - Wruth (File) cheap enough and by then I was a lil more open, I gave it a chance and bought it. Fucking loved that album from the moment I first played it, and it is still my favourite Dan Reed album to this day. Thank fuck I stopped judging bands by image pretty early into my early days in rock, as I probably would listen to half the shit I listen to now.
